And You Thought Flushing A Goldfish Was Tragic

Remember Caedmon’s “boy”? He’s been around for quite some time. And he tends to stay out of trouble most of the time. But the other night, Caedmon ran in to find me and started telling me a tragic story.

I will go ahead and say right now that I believe it took some mad parenting skillz to keep a straight face. Husband had to leave the room. Because he was trying not to laugh, but also because Caedmon demanded it. He wanted to tell his story just to me. And the rest of the world.

Plunger = Plumber (in case you hadn’t figured that out)

You’ll be glad to know that just a few days later, Caedmon was reunited with his “boy.” At Walmart, of all places. We were checking out when he mentioned the “boy.” I asked how he’d found him, and was told that he’d crawled out of the sewer pipe and found us at Walmart. Of course that makes total sense because that’s where we first acquired him. I’m just glad he made it home safely.

I just hope he took a shower before he got in the car.

  3. Oh my word, this is so precious. This got me watching old videos of Caedmon on YouTube...I could just eat him up!! Is that weird that I'm spending a Friday night watching your son on YouTube? Don't answer that...I promise I'm normal.
