Here are a few photos from the past week.
Last Thursday was Caedmon’s last day of KDO for the year. They all had their faces painted. He got a dinosaur and was quite proud of it.
I’m not ashamed to admit that thing hung around until Saturday. It’s not every day a boy wears a dinosaur on his face. He should get to enjoy it.
Honor officially went to church for the first time.
I promise she doesn’t have that many chins. She’s just kinda squished. She hasn’t learned the art of stretching her neck for photos yet.
Hey, I was proud that I remembered to put a hair bow on her. And she wore it all morning, too.
We’ve never had bedtime battles with Caedmon until recently. He’ll stay awake for a sweet forever at night before finally going to sleep. After a particularly long ordeal on Sunday night, this is how we found him when we checked on him before we went to bed.
No, he didn’t start out with the house shoes on. Or the book. But strangely enough, the book is appropriately titled, “Security is a Thumb and a Blanket.”
And we broke out the pool. I think the guys about froze to death that first day, but hey, it was the POOL!
We also went to the bouncy place with friends, but because I am a slacker, there are no pictures. Caedmon also spent much more time in the pool. Summer is officially here!
