I Am Becoming A High Maintenance Woman

In the midst of our sickliness last week, Husband had to go out of town unexpectedly. A package was delivered to the door, so I called to tell him whatever he’d ordered had arrived.

Then he said it was for me.

I didn’t even know what it was yet, but I was thrilled to have a bright spot in the middle of the tantrums, snot and fever.

But then I opened the box, and it was like the clouds parted, the sun shone down, and the angels sang.

Here’s what Husband bought for me:

Ya’ll know how much I have coveted a Chi iron. But I just couldn’t spend the money. Because I’m cheap thrifty. But Husband made sure I got one.

My hair will never be the same. And hopefully that’s a good thing.

  1. I am playing catch up!
He is a good man, very good. I told Brandon if my Chi ever went out not to ask questions, just go by another one...even if it means selling a kidney.

  2. You'll never go back to the "thrifty" straighteners! I didn't get my chi until this year and I know that I won't ever go back to another straightener! :-)
