Do ya’ll remember when NLB enlisted in the Air National Guard? And then he finally left for training?
For the last eight and a half weeks, NLB has been in Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base. Today is his graduation day!
We are extremely proud of him. He has been Guidon Bearer for his Flight during his training. (It means he’s the guy who gets to carry the flag when his group marches.) It’s a pretty cool honor to be “The Guide.”
His Flight also was awarded Honor Flight for their training time. (It means they are awesome.)
Congratulations, Little Brother. And the rest of Flight 500 too, I guess. 
Man, this makes me feel old. I could just see his little four year old face looking at me from under that hat. Congrats! What's next for him?
