Honor: 11 Months

I can’t believe our girl is just one month shy of her first birthday. Maybe I should get her party planned!

Honor now pulls up quite well and actually “cruised” for the first time last night. It wasn’t far, but she managed to move her little self around the corner of the coffee table. I don’t even think she realized what she was doing. She still prefers to commando crawl, though she can crawl on all fours.

Yes, her hair is still out of control. I think it’s time for a trim. Every time I put a barrette or rubber band in it, she ends up pulling it out. And then promptly tries to put it back in her hair by herself. She knows where it belongs, I guess she thinks she should get to put it there herself. She also tried put put her socks on after she pulled them off the other day. She’s a smart girl!

Honor has six teeth now. Her two top middle, two bottom middle, and the tooth to the right of the top two and bottom two. I wonder if she feels lopsided?

Although Honor talks, she doesn’t actually say a lot. But the girl knows how to communicate. We’ve been using signs, and she recognizes them, but doesn’t sign back. She will, however, click with her tongue when you ask if she wants “more” or if she runs out of food. It cracks me up.

Honor says Dada, Momma, and Oz. I can’t wait to see what she calls Caedmon.

And I know I say this every month, but these two crack me up.

Caedmon was trying to give her a kiss…

…and then she gave him a hug.
