Works-For-Me-Wednesday: Cookie Helper

I love to bake cookies. And for the longest time I used the ol’ double teaspoon method to portion the dough.

And then I discovered the cookie scoop. My cookies were never the same after that. They were all the same size, so they baked evenly. And they were pretty.

And then? I discovered they come in different sizes. I have three different cookie scoops and use them all for different types of cookies.

It even makes it super easy to freeze the dough to be baked later.

Love them. They definitely work for me.

Head on over to We Are THAT Family for more Works-For-Me-Wednesday.

  3. They don't work for me. :-( At least... not the way I want them to! Sure, they get the same size each time, but I still end up having to pry it out of the scoop with my fingers. The little lever doesn't seem to do the job, at least not with my cookie mixes. I was hoping for a way to make the cookies without ending up with dough all over my fingers. Sigh. I wonder if it's because I have to bake egg-free? Or maybe I need to buy a high-end scoop - I got one from LNT or BBB or somewhere a couple years ago.

  5. I have been using cookie scoops with for my cookie baking for years!!! It sure makes the Christmas baking extravaganza a lot easier for me, and easier for me to recruit help too! I have also used a large one for muffins, cupcakes, and meatloaf balls.
