I Declare Myself On Vacation

As a Mom, you don’t really get “vacation.” It really wouldn’t be good to take the day off from things like feeding your child and changing diapers. Unless, you know, you hired a temp to take your place. And that’s just not cost effective.

But sometimes, a Momma’s gotta take things into her own hands. And that means taking a break from some non-essential things for a few days.

So I’m declaring myself on vacation. It will probably be as effective as this:

I’ll be back next week in time for Works-For-Me-Wednesday. Ya’ll don’t have too much fun without me!
