It's time to announce the winner in the name contest. Here were the choices:
Serling, Crichton, Puddy, Dozer, and Geek.
And the winner is: None of the Above.
Yeah, I know it's cruel and unusual punishment to ask you to vote and then not choose any of the names we threw out there. But I had a feeling it would happen. We got the little guy home and none of those names were right for him. Please accept my apologies.
We have finally settled on Oz. There were many reasons the other names didn't work out, and we actually tried out a few before we settled on this one. It just seems to fit him. And it is a bonus that C can almost say it.
Things are going great. Oz likes C, and C loves Oz. There's only been one ear-pulling incedent so far, in which Oz was only mildly bothered that this short little person was trying to yank his ear off.
Oz, however, is not sure he likes this "outside" place we keep telling him is so great. It could have something to do with the single-digit temperatures with even colder wind chills. For a puppy who's never really spent time outside, it's not a fun introduction.
Here are some pictures from the last few days.

Ha! Great name, I love it!
ReplyDeleteOk, that little thing is ADORABLE. (C, too!!)
ReplyDeleteLove the name. I love the last picture of C and Oz by the table. Let us know how it goes having a puppy around. Josh is now saying we may get one this summer for the boys. Every little boy needs a dog, right?
ReplyDeleteYour house is starting to overflow with cuteness. It may explode when I get there in a couple of weeks.
