I Hope Everyone's Had Their Shots

Our place is known to be a "zoo" of many sorts. At any given time there are a number of "creatures" both two-legged and four, running around doing some pretty strange things.

Right after Trump and her handsome groom-who-still-doesn't-have-a-quality-blog-name got back from their honeymoon, C and I were invited to go over and see the kids.

Not people kids. Goat kids.

So we headed on over with Mom & Dad, who were delivering Pepsi to her new home at Trump's.

First, we saw the horses. Pepsi seemed right at home already.

And Dollar was more interested to see if we'd brought something for him.

C wasn't so thrilled with the baby goats. He could see the calves and was way more interested in them than in some kids.

He could see these girls, Dolly and Reba, through the opening in the barn and he wanted to check them out.

He finally got close enough to Dolly to touch her. He loved it.

Trump showed C how to feed the pigs next, and he was in hog heaven. Pun intended.

He loved trying to give the pigs one piece of food at a time.

And Dolly kept trying to sneak in and get some pig feed.

Next, C found the gate. Open, close. Open, close. His favorite pasttime.

Then, he got to ride on the tractor with his new Uncle.

And then we got on the Rhino (a machine, not an animal) with Aunt Trump.

As you can see, the rest of us were cold and ready to go inside. C was having the time of his life and was less than ready to leave when we finally called it quits. We'll have to go back next time they have baby chickens...that will be a real adventure! Pin It

Better than a petting zoo! You don't have to pay to get in, and you don't have to buy the feed!

  4. Jill, of course you can come! Listen to me, inviting you over to my sister's house. Ha!

Seriously though, I'm sure they would love to have your kids out sometime. I'll try to give you a call next time we are headed out to play.
