If You Build It, He Will Play

Saturday, my boys hung out together while I helped hostess a bridal shower for Trump. (Which was very nice, by the way. Thanks to everyone who came.) When I came home, I found that my boys, they had been busy.

Since it's gotten a bit cool, the Kangaroo Climber has made its way inside. It gets set up in the living room, climbed on, slid down, has its door opened and closed a bajillion times, then is dismantled and stored until the next play session.

Yes, he's the first and currently only child. Can't you tell?

Anyway, after a long afternoon of punch-drinking, pie-eating, and shuffling mounds of gifts, here's what I found when I got home:
And some photos Husband took while they played:

Between their fort and football, I think they had a good time. Pin It

  1. Looks like fun! That's cool that the climber can come apart and go back together. And that third pic is great!

Don't you remember us making tents that went from the living room to the bedroom!

  4. Yeah, well I definitely remember tents that took up about 3 rooms...left up for days on end...and inhabited by multiple tent rats!

  5. Yes, I remember the tents. I'm going to have to teach Husband to use some clothespins to hold stuff together. I don't think he's familiar with that method of tent building.
