My shopping trip with Trump was a successful one. Thanks for all of your comments, advice, and suggestions. They were helpful to us as we perused dishes, walls filled with various kitchen gadgets and more toasters than I knew existed.
The groom-to-be even showed up toward the end of our trek. At first we thought he was lost in the store, then realized he wasn't lost at all. He'd found the massage chairs and was contemplating which one should be added to the registry. So we all enjoyed a bit of a massage break before continuing on through the store.
Things have come a long way in the 10 years since I registered for wedding gifts. There are so many cool things that didn't exist then.
Good gosh, that last phrase just made me sound old.
But walking through those stores, while fun, probably wasn't good for me. I found quite a few things I now need. Because who doesn't need this, this, or this?
Oh well. I guess I've survived this long without that stuff. I can last a little longer.
But when C starts having class parties, that cupcake thing is totally mine.

It's funny how "new stuff" can make you feel "old."
ReplyDeleteDid she register for any wooden spoons?!?!
