Most of you know I live with a Geek. A proud Geek. A Geek who has friends who are Geeks. Geeks who come over to my house and play their geeky games. And consume copious amounts of pizza, caffeine, and homemade chocolate chip cookies.
Yes, I bake for the Geeks. And they like it. I also experiment on them with new recipes. They like that also, but that's another story.
So this past weekend was Chickster's first official LAN party. The usual crowd was here, plus a new recruit.
I hope they had fun after I threatned them with a loving, "He who wakes the baby shall die a slow and painful death."
Torturous methods bringing about death were not needed, however, as the guys remained relatively quiet and Chickster slept like an angel. I was awakened once to the sound of muffled but hysterical laughter. I then heard a reference to an Alec Baldwin SNL sketch having to do with a special kind of meatball. It was then I knew the consumption of caffeine and the late hour had taken its toll on the sanity of the guys in my living room. I put a pillow over my head and went back to sleep and left them to their hysterics.
Early on in the evening, Chickster sat with the big boys for a while and watched them play. Here's Chickster with his Daddy, aka Husband.
