Springing Forward

I have never liked the "Spring Forward" time change. There are many reasons why, but the biggest one is that I lose an entire hour of sleep on a Saturday night. Not necessarily an evil thing for a lot of people, but Sundays are long, hard days for us. Not the best day to lose an entire hour of sleep, no matter when you go to bed.

This year, however, I was looking forward to setting the clocks ahead one hour. Why? My psychotic dogs. Yes, that's right. They've been driving me nuts. They have been waking up earlier and earlier every day. Before the time change, they woke up about an hour early, and if they think there is the slightest possibility that I might be awake, the whining ensues. Not because they want attention or to go potty. Argus wants to eat. And he wants to eat now. Because he's starving. Withering away into nothingness. Shriveling up into a sad, wrinkled shell of his former self. He honestly believes that if he doesn't eat immediately upon waking, he will not have the strength to drag himself into the laundry room to eat, much less live through the morning.

So, I'm looking forward to seeing how this time change effects them. I'd actually like to get some sleep! Pin It

Your dogs are physcotic. if thats how you spell it. Our's is lucky if he gets his food at all. He typically has to fight off a swarming hord of cats and the neighbor dog. It's a hard knock life. Of course since I weighed him the other day on moms bathroom scale, that was a challenge, and found out he weighs 120 pounds I dont feel so bad for him.

    TRUMP
