It seems that whenever I get ready to hang something on the wall, I need all kinds of stuff. You know, the picture hanging stuff. I finally got smart a few years ago (yeah, it took that long) and gathered all the picture paraphernalia and put it all together in one nifty, neat little container.
Actually, it’s a plastic to-go container from a local restaurant.
But hey, it works. The clear plastic lid is what sold me. Not to mention it was free. Well, for the price of the to-go meal. But I digress.
It contains: A small tape measure, pencil, sawtooth hangers, eye screws, picture wire, nails, and stuff to hang frames (you know, the J-shaped thingies).
Now when I’m ready to hang a picture or put a frame together, all I have to do is grab my container, level and hammer and I’m ready to go! It makes things a lot easier to have everything all together and easy to find. I’m going to put it to lots of use in a couple of weeks for Caedmon’s room makeover. I know I will be glad I have all those things at my fingertips!
