We're Off To See The Wizard...

We're off in a few days to see Laser Beam Doc for Chickster's second treatment. We won't know what time his surgery is scheduled for until the day before, just like last time. So I'll post an update, then another after we get back (or the next morning), depending on what time it is when we get home.

Please pray that:
  • We will have safe travel
  • Chickster will be cool with not getting to eat for several hours beforehand, probably most of the day
  • Chickster will tolerate all the poking and prodding well during his pre-op checkup
  • The anesthesia and surgery will be complication-free
  • LBD and her crew will be guided by the hand of God
  • The trip home will be restful (Last time, Chickster was wired and stayed awake the entire way, causing us all to be a bit fussy.)
  • We will see tremendous results from this treatment, so we don't have to go back many more times!

    I think posting your prayer needs in this technological format is great. It gives so many more people the opportunity to pray and to be directly involved with your lives and in the answers that God performs for His honor. And while technology is amazing - even more amazing is our loving Heavenly Father who listens to every petition and meets our every need.
